The Parks and Recreation Department operates various sports tournaments throughout the year. For all local tournaments, we offer:

  • Online registration
  • Posted game results throughout the tournament
  • A dedicated travel service to help you with accommodations, restaurants, and activity information

The success of our tournaments is dependent on the combination of great volunteers and partnerships established with our sponsors. Hudson Travel Group is now the exclusive travel partner for all tournaments hosted by Orillia Parks and Recreation.

Registration

We accept teams on a first-come, first-served basis. Late registrations will be placed on a cancellation waiting list. We reserve the right to reject any entry. A team is accepted only when payment is received and an email stating acceptance is received by the registrant.

To register, please click on the appropriate tournament link and follow the instructions. Please provide all the details that are requested on the online registration form. The application will automatically be sent to the Tournament Co-ordinator to review.

Once accepted, an automatic email will be sent to the email address that you provided informing you that your team has been tentatively accepted into the tournament and then you can send a cheque to the address provided.

Once the team entry fee has been received by the Tournament Coordinator, another email will be sent to the team confirming the team's entry into the tournament.

Accommodations 

HTG sports logoFor all tournaments, one of the criteria for acceptance will be that your hotel accommodations have been secured through Hudson Travel Group. They have blocks set aside at all the participating host hotels, so be sure to contact them early to secure your spot.

Scheduling

Schedules will be available a minimum of two weeks prior to the tournament. Upon completion, they will be posted on this website. Tournament results will be posted throughout the tournament.

Refund Policy

If a tournament is cancelled prior to the start of the tournament, a full refund will be issued to all confirmed teams. If the tournament is cancelled after games have been played then a pro-rated refund will be issued to all confirmed teams. The pro-rating will be based on the number of games already played.

Teams that withdraw from a tournament will be refunded their entry fee, less a 10% administration fee, provided the Tournament Co-ordinator is notified more than 14 days in advance of the start of the tournament. No refunds, for any reason, will be issued to any teams that withdraw within 14 days of the tournament start date.
