2011 Beatles Celebration: Beatles Celebration fans will have more to celebrate than ever before at the 5th Annual Orillia Beatles Celebration returns for two jam-packed days celebrating the Fab Four in downtown Orillia.
Artist, Ron Schell: Orillia artist Ron Schell presents his downtown workshop. With the help of Garnet Bruhm, Schell has been charged with building the 60 metal boat frames for this year's Orillia Public Art Exhibit venture, Sixty Sails.
Sixty Sails Art Exhibit: SIXTY SAILS were unvieled Saturday June 4 during a daunting rain. Organizers, artists, volunteers, dignitaries and citizens were on hand to celebrate Orillia's Incredible Outdoor Art Project which will line the streets from June - Oct. Visit Orillia and visit the show, the shops, the restaurants, theatres, parks and museums.
Summer Fest: JULY 19 - 30. Ontario's Largest Literary Gathering returns to Orillia, The Sunshine City on the grounds of Stephen Leacock's home. Visit www.leacockmuseum.com for details.

Proud To Call Home: Steve Van Kessel wrote this tribute song about Orillia entitled Proud To Call Home. It was produced by Lance Anderson and featured many local musicians.
The song was used and continues to be used by the City of Orillia as the musical backdrop for a series of television ads used to promote Orillia and its calendar of events. The performance video was directed and photographed by Darcy Hoover, Marketing Manager for the Orillia Culture and Heritage Department.
