When you make a gift to OOH, you make a gift of  world-class performing arts to the entire region. OOH contributes tremendously  to an excellent quality of life in the City of Orillia by creating a culturally and  economically thriving community that attracts tourists, residents, and  businesses.

Membership Gifts

Membership gifts are gifts to OOH and you! Each membership level offers  wonderful benefits. Membership gifts can be made online via our secure online  giving page, by credit card (VISA or MasterCard) online or by calling OOH at (705)325-2095 or by cheque made payable to Orillia Opera House and mailed to:Orillia Opera House  20 Mississaga Street West, Orillia ON L3V 3A

 

Seat Plaques

The Orillia Opera  House contributes to the community as a home for the performing arts, essential  to this region's cultural vitality.

In turn, OOH depends  on the extended community for its generous membership gifts, essential  donations of time and talent offered by our volunteers, permanent and seasonal  staff, and to be the bedrock of our audiences, whose enthusiasm for attending  performances fuels OOHs year-round activities dedicated to preserving the arts.

Seat Plaques make the perfect present for friends, family, and are a great way to thank clients,  reward employees, or delight co-workers. It is also a permanent way to honor someone.

 

You Can Also Help Sustain the OOH by:

Donating an Asset    

The simplest way to support OOH is through cash gifts. But creative gifts of assets  can include stocks, bonds, and property. These can provide you with charitable deductions.

Bequest  

By remembering OOH in your will, you may be able to secure a charitable estate-tax deduction for the value of the gift. Best of all, you will know that  your generosity will support OOH for years to come and leave a lasting legacy.  For including OOH in your future plans, you will be recognized as a member of OOH's  legacy society, The Encore Society.

Via Matching Gifts from Your Employer   

Many employers match employee contributions to educational institutions like OOH,  so don't miss out on this easy opportunity to double the impact of your gift.  Information should be available to you through your HR office.

Volunteering     

If you prefer to make a gift of your time and talents instead, we encourage you  to explore the many options available, among them service as an usher or tour guide.

 

Donations,  Memberships and Seat Plaques

Information that will need to be provided: Name, address, city, province, postal code, phone and email.

Donation

Donate: $10, $20,  $30,  $40, $50,   $60 or  other.
Matching Gifts: If you or your spouse  works for a company with a matching gift program, your gift to OOH is  multiplied!

 

Choose  a Membership Level:

Cast - Individual: $75     

Receive advance  notice of OOH events and other performances, a 15%  discount on up to four tickets for all Summer Season Theatre performances  (excluding the Gala), invitations  to special OOH member events and a website  listing.

Actor - Individual: $175

Receive friend  benefits plus a 15%  discount on two tickets for all Summer Season Concert performances (excluding the Gala), a listing  in the Summer Season program and members  only electronic newsletter.

Star - Individual: $350  

Receive associate benefits plus two  free tickets to the Summer Season Gala and a 20%  discount at the Green Room Bar all summer.

Director - Individual: $600         Receive sustaining benefits plus two free Summer Season Flex Passes, two additional free tickets to the Summer Season Gala     

**Members  who wish to receive full credit for a charitable gift deduction need to decline  offers of ticket benefits on the membership form above.

 

Seat  Selection

Purchase a seat(s) in the $250 level  located in the Studio Theatre or a seat(s) in the $600 level  located in the Gordon Lightfoot Auditorium. Do  you have a specific seat that you wish to buy?  Please let us know and if it is available we'll be happy to have you  plaque assigned to it.

 

Seat  Plaque(s) 

Provide your inscription for the seat plaque(s) on the Donation Form. If you are purchasing more than one plaque and you'd like  different inscriptions on each plaque, please attach a note with what you'd  like on each. Please print/type clearly, one character per line, up to 14  characters. Blank spaces count as one character. With  your receipt for your contribution, the location of the plaque once the plaque  has been engraved and installed.
