Term

The term of office for most committees is three years, however, some committees require that the members be appointed for the four year term of Council.

Citizens may serve up to two full terms. If a member is appointed to fill a vacancy mid-term, he/she completes that term and then may serve an additional two terms.

Remuneration

Citizens who volunteer to serve on City boards and committees are paid an annual stipend as outlined in Schedule 'B' of Chapter 493 of the City of Orillia Municipal Code.
