The Environmental Services and Operations Department is responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of municipal services to the citizens of Orillia. The Department is composed of divisions in Solid Waste Management (Landfill & Recycling), Pollution Control, Sewer & Wastewater, Water and Water Efficiency,Source Protection and Roads and Fleet Operations.

  • Maintenance of City signs (stop signs, etc.), street lights, traffic signals and school zone flashing lights
  • Spot reconstruction of roads, sidewalks, and curbs
  • Entrance and road cross-culvert installation and replacement
  • Road cut, entrance, curb cut, and over-dimensional permits
  • Tree trimmings / cutting, grass cutting, and leaf collection on City property
