Garbage, Recycling & Green Bin Pick-up

The City of Orillia is determined to keep as many items as possible out of its waste diversion site (landfill). For this reason, the City decided to gradually introduce a Garbage Tag program, while increasing its efforts to help people recycle. In addition to an extensive Blue Box Recycling Program, the City also has a Green Bin program for compostable materials and picks up garbage, recycling and compost on the same day, once a week, for all residents of the City.
