Couchiching Beach swimming advisory lifted July 25

For immediate release (July 25, 2024) – The City of Orillia has received notice from the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit that the swimming advisory at Couchiching Beach, located at Couchiching Beach Park, has been lifted.
A swimming advisory was issued by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit on July 23, 2024, due to a higher-than-normal bacteria count.

For immediate release (July 25, 2024) – Attention boaters and park goers: Just in time for the weekend, the Centennial Park Boat Launch Parking Lot reopens Friday, July 26.

Market provides new opportunity for Orillia’s young entrepreneurs
For immediate release (July 19, 2024) – The City of Orillia, in partnership with the Orillia Area Community Development Corporation (CDC), is excited to invite the public to a special Youth Artisan Market on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Couchiching Beach Park from 5 to 9 p.m.
