Open the door to Orillia’s impressive sporting history during this year’s Doors Open events held Saturday, June 20, throughout the city.
Doors Open 2015 commemorates Ontario’s sporting heritage. Famously called the “town of champions”, Orillia’s sporting past includes Canadian champions in track and field, lacrosse, hockey, and more. Learn about water safety at the fifth annual carnival-themed Water Smart Day on Saturday, June 20, 2015, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Couchiching Beach Park.

The City of Orillia Sunday Evening Band Concerts series kicks-off another season at the Rotary Aqua Theatre on Sunday, June 21 with the Orillia Wind Ensemble joined by the Neema Children’s Choir of Uganda.

Members of the public are invited to review and provide comments on proposed design concepts for a new Port of Orillia building and the future development of public space in the area of Orillia’s waterfront at an open house on Thursday, June 25.

Midhurst/June 16, 2015 – The County of Simcoe, City of Barrie and City of Orillia are partnering to jointly promote regional business opportunities at the upcoming Canadian Manufacturing Technology Show (CMTS). The municipal partners have secured 1,000 sq. ft. of display space and are currently recruiting eight to 10 local businesses to participate in a regional booth.
