Update: Nov. 3, 2022
The repair of the heat exchanger at Rotary Place is now complete and the City has all hands on-deck with crews working around the clock to build the ice surfaces.
Crews have successfully reinstalled the ice base on the green side; logos have been put in place and lines have been painted. We anticipate completing the logos and lines on the blue side shortly. The focus moving forward will be to continue building up the ice surfaces to the appropriate standards.

NOTICE OF PROJECT – Sir Sam Steele Memorial Building Brick and Limestone Restoration - 30 Peter Street South, Orillia
The City has completed the Brick and Limestone Restoration project located at the Sir Sam Steele Memorial Building – 30 Peter Street South. The scaffolding is scheduled to be removed the week of November 7, 2022 and will take approximately 1 to 2 weeks to disassemble.

The road will be closed at King Street on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 effective immediately until 6 pm for installation of site servicing. Detour Book 7 - Matchedash Street South to Elgin Street to Front Street South.
