Water Meter Changeout Program

The City of Orillia will be beginning the Water Meter Changeout Program from mid-November to the end of December 2024. This program is in place to replace water meters that have reached their end of life and to ensure accurate billing. WAMCO was the successful bidder for the work and will be completing the replacement on behalf of the City.

City of Orillia administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Nov. 11, 2024, in recognition of Remembrance Day. This includes:
- Orillia City Centre (50 Andrew St. S.)
- Municipal Operations Centre (20 James St. W.)
- Waste Diversion Site (100 Kitchener St.)
- Wastewater Treatment Centre (40 Kitchener St.)
- Water Filtration Plant (200 Bay St.)

A Special Council Meeting re Staffing Matter has been scheduled immediately following the Budget Committee Meeting re 2025 Budget Deliberations on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. A portion of this meeting will be held in closed session in the Tudhope-McIntyre Boardroom of the Orillia City Centre. The open session portions of this meeting will be held in the Council Chamber.
