For immediate release (July 20, 2022) – The City of Orillia has received notice from the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit that the swimming advisories at Couchiching Beach, located at Couchiching Beach Park, and Portage Bay, located at J.B. Tudhope Memorial Park, have been lifted.
The swimming advisories were issued by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit on July 19, 2022, due to higher than normal bacteria counts.
