Health unit concludes investigation into Legionnaires’ disease outbreak in Orillia

For immediate release (Nov. 8, 2022) – The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit’s (SMDHU) investigation announced on Oct. 7 into a Legionnaires’ disease outbreak in Orillia is now concluded and the outbreak is declared over.

Temporary Road Closure - 340 Mississaga Street West

The road will be closed at 340 Mississaga Street West between Westmount Drive South and Hammond Avenue on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for a sewer lateral repair. Detour Book 7 – Westmount Drive South to Colborne Street West to Hammond Avenue.
