Rotary Aqua Theatre Grand Reopening rescheduled for Aug. 9

For immediate release (July 29, 2022) – The Grand Reopening of the Rotary Aqua Theatre event has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2022 at 6:30 p.m.
The event, previously scheduled for July 20, 2022, was postponed due to inclement weather.

Moose Beach swimming advisory lifted July 28

For immediate release (July 28, 2022) – The City of Orillia has received notice from the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit that the swimming advisory at Moose Beach, located at J.B. Tudhope Memorial Park, has been lifted.
The swimming advisory was issued by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit on July 27, 2022, due to higher than normal bacteria counts.
All three swimming areas in Orillia are now open for swimming. This includes Couchiching Beach, Moose Beach and Portage Bay.

For immediate release (July 27, 2022) - The City of Orillia has received notice from the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit that a swimming advisory has been issued for Moose Beach, located at J.B. Tudhope Memorial Park, due to a higher than normal bacteria count.
