Remembrance Day - City of Orillia Closures 2022

City of Orillia administrative offices are closed on Friday, November 11, 2022 to observe Remembrance Day. This includes:
- Orillia City Centre (50 Andrew St. S.)
- Municipal Operations Centre (20 James St. W.)
- Wastewater Treatment Centre (40 Kitchener St.)
- Orillia Waste Diversion Site (100 Kitchener St.)
- Orillia Public Library (36 Mississaga St. W.)

Temporary Road Closure - 340 Mississaga Street West

The road will be closed at 340 Mississaga Street West between Westmount Drive South and Hammond Avenue on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for a sewer lateral repair. Detour Book 7 – Westmount Drive South to Colborne Street West to Hammond Avenue.

Please note that the repair has been completed and the roads have now reopened.

Rotary Place Heat Exchanger Repair Status Update Nov. 3, 2022

Update: Nov. 3, 2022
The repair of the heat exchanger at Rotary Place is now complete and the City has all hands on-deck with crews working around the clock to build the ice surfaces.
Crews have successfully reinstalled the ice base on the green side; logos have been put in place and lines have been painted. We anticipate completing the logos and lines on the blue side shortly. The focus moving forward will be to continue building up the ice surfaces to the appropriate standards.
