A Special Council Meeting regarding Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and Orillia Drinking Water System Training has been scheduled for Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 9:00 AM. A portion of this meeting may be held in closed session.
Please note: The meeting will be held in-person in the Council Chamber, Orillia City Centre. Members of the public who wish to attend Council Chamber during the open session portions of the meeting are welcome.

Holiday Schedule for Easter Weekend 2023

City of Orillia administrative offices will be closed on Friday, April 7, 2023 and Monday, April 10, 2023 for the Easter long weekend. This includes:
- Orillia City Centre (50 Andrew St. S.)
- Municipal Operations Centre (20 James St. W.)
- Wastewater Treatment Centre (40 Kitchener St.)
- Water Filtration Plant (200 Bay St.)
Hours of operation for other City facilities/services include:

New Boat Trailer Parking Program takes effect May 15 in Orillia

Residents can park and launch for free with Resident Boat Trailer Parking Permit
For immediate release (April 4, 2023) – As approved during the 2023 budget process, a new Boat Trailer Parking Program will soon begin in Orillia.
The new program will be in effect seven days a week (Monday through Sunday) from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and will run from May 15 to Oct. 15 annually. Orillia residents, and those who pay taxes directly to the City, can park their boat trailer for free by displaying a Resident...

Watermain Damage - 140 Cedar Island Road - Tuesday, April 4, 2023

The City has been advised of a watermain that has been damaged in the area of 140 Cedar Island Rd. The impacted section of watermain has been isolated to 140 Cedar Island Dr (The Elgin Bay Condominiums). The City is currently working with the contractor to have repairs completed today. If you are experiencing discoloured water as a result of the watermain break, please allow your cold water tap to run for 20 minutes. If the issue persists, please call us at 705-329-7249.
