Crews are currently working onsite on Walker Avenue to repair a broken watermain.
While this work is being done, residents on Walker Avenue may experience low or no water pressure. When the water service is restored, you may experience milky water or discoloured water. At that time, please run your cold water tap for 30 minutes and it should clear.

Overnight parking restrictions in effect Nov. 15 to April 15 in Orillia

For immediate release (Nov. 8, 2024) – The City of Orillia reminds residents that parking is prohibited on all municipal streets and parking lots between the hours of midnight and 7 a.m. from Nov. 15, 2024 through April 15, 2025.
When you go to bed on Thursday, Nov. 14, make sure your vehicle is not parked on the road or in a municipal parking lot as the restriction comes into effect when the clock strikes midnight. This prohibition is in effect regardless of weather conditions.

Collins Drive Boat Launch Rehabilitation Project

The City of Orillia will be completing a project to repair the Collins Drive Boat Launch. The work consists of:
- Repairs to both the east boat launch ramp and west boat launch ramp
- Replacement of dock deck boards
The Collins Drive Boat Launch Rehabilitation is a combination of 2022 Capital Funding ($125,000) and 2024 Capital Funding ($100,000). The boat launch consists of two launching areas, one on each side of the floating dock. The West side has begun to deteriorate and requires repairs. At the...

Transit Stop Modification
Effective Friday, Nov. 15, 2024
A new transit pad has been constructed on the northwest corner of Mississaga Street West and Douglas Street.
As a result, the transit stop on the northeast corner of Mississaga Street West and Douglas Street, as well as the stop at the northeast corner of Mississaga Street and Mckenzie Street will no longer be serviced. The new transit stop and decommissioned stops are shown on the map below.
