Potential transit delays on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 4 to 8 p.m.
Due to the Coldest Night of the Year event taking place on Saturday, February 24, 2024, Orillia Transit riders may experience delays during their evening travels.
The event begins at approximately 4 p.m. and will continue until the end of Saturday service. We remind all transit riders to please be patient with all bus drivers and event participants at this time.

Newly formed OPP Detachment Board accepting applications for members

For immediate release (Feb. 21, 2024) – With the upcoming Community Safety and Policing Act, the City of Orillia and Townships of Oro-Medonte, Ramara, and Severn are inviting applications from community members to join the newly formed Couchiching Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment Board. This board will replace the Orillia Police Services Board.
The new Couchiching OPP Detachment Board will be responsible for:
