The City of Orillia invites every person who receives a parking ticket (with the exception of accessible parking violations) between November 1, 2013 through to December 1, 2013 inclusive to pay the fine amount by donating a new children’s toy!

Overnight Parking Restrictions

The City of Orillia reminds residents that parking is prohibited on any municipal street or parking lot between the hours of midnight and 7:00 a.m. from November 15, 2013 through April 15, 2014.
Illegally parked cars can delay or impair the City’s snow plowing or sanding operations. This prohibition is in effect whether it is snowing or not. All illegally parked vehicles will be ticketed and/or towed.

Orillia has “a really good reputation” among future doctors studying in Toronto.
“Orillia is one of the top few cities outside (Toronto) that people are seeking and talking about,” Eva Tan, a 26-year-old resident from North York General Hospital, said Friday. “I think you guys have a really good reputation.”
