For immediate release (July 3, 2013) – A public meeting on the City of Orillia’s policing options is being held Monday July 8, 2013 at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers.

For immediate release (July 2, 2013) – Legendary singer/songwriter Arlo Guthrie is paying the Orillia Youth Centre (OYC) a special visit before taking to the Mariposa Folk Festival main stage July 7, 2013.
Guthrie, known for his humanitarian work and role as an advocate for marginalized populations, including at-risk children and youth, will tour the OYC and speak with youth during his short visit. For immediate release (June 25, 2013) – Orillia City Centre, 50 Andrew St., is open and operational despite water damage caused by a sprinkler mechanical malfunction Monday night.

A Special Meeting of Council Committee regarding Policing Options will be held on Monday, July 8, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. in the Tudhope-McIntrye Boardroom of the Orillia City Centre. A portion of this meeting will be held in Closed Session to deal with Legal and Personnel issues.
