New Avenues Available To New Immigrants

SIMCOE COUNTY - Newcomers and potential newcomers will soon have a new online vehicle to learn about Simcoe County, its amenities, services and communities.

ORILLIA - City politicians are putting their weight behind a rooftop solar project proposed for Atherley Road.

County Working On Affordable Housing Strategy

SIMCOE COUNTY - A new 10-year affordable housing and homelessness strategy is in the works, members of the human services committee say.
Barrie mayor Jeff Lehman and Orillia mayor Angelo Orsi supported the plan, but would like to see strategies developed to meet the identified demand for housing across the region.
