Laclie Transit Route temporary suspension December 14

For immediate release (December 11, 2014) – The City of Orillia will temporarily suspend a portion of the Laclie Transit Route on Sunday, December 14 from 9:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. to accommodate the CANI Run Snowflake Series race.
During the suspension, transit stops located on Jarvis Street, Bay Street, Maple Drive, Francis Road, and Hughes Road will be out of service.
Regular service to the Laclie Transit Route will resume on Sunday, December 14 from 11:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Former Car Dealership Property Sold

A prime piece of city property that has been on the market for eight years has sold for $5,000 over the asking price.
Stuart Anderson, an agent with Sutton Group Incentive Realty Inc. Brokerage, said he recently sold the property that once housed a car dealership on Memorial Avenue for $2.2 million.
Anderson, who listed the property in June for $2.195 million, declined to identify the buyer or when the sale might close, only saying it won’t be this month.
