Open the door to Orillia’s impressive sporting history during this year’s Doors Open events held Saturday, June 20, throughout the city.

Learn about water safety at the fifth annual carnival-themed Water Smart Day on Saturday, June 20, 2015, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Couchiching Beach Park.

The City of Orillia Sunday Evening Band Concerts series kicks-off another season at the Rotary Aqua Theatre on Sunday, June 21 with the Orillia Wind Ensemble joined by the Neema Children’s Choir of Uganda.
The Neema Children’s Choir, who is in the Orillia area raising awareness of the many children who have lost their parents to HIV/AIDS and war, will showcase their African culture through dance, rhythm, and song.

Public invited to give input on Port Design at Open House

Members of the public are invited to review and provide comments on proposed design concepts for a new Port of Orillia building and the future development of public space in the area of Orillia’s waterfront at an open house on Thursday, June 25.
The open house is being held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Orillia Public Library in Program Rooms 1 and 2. Consultants working with the City’s Port of Orillia Public Realm Project Team will be available to present and discuss the proposed design concepts.
