Overnight Parking Restrictions

The City of Orillia reminds residents that parking is prohibited on any municipal street or parking lot between the hours of midnight and 7:00 a.m. from November 15, 2013 through April 15, 2014.
Illegally parked cars can delay or impair the City’s snow plowing or sanding operations. This prohibition is in effect whether it is snowing or not. All illegally parked vehicles will be ticketed and/or towed.

Life’s journey rarely comes with a road map and seldom follows a linear path. Orillia’s two newest doctors, both medical specialists, are living proof.For Brock McKinney, his epiphany came in Kenya, in a large, open room jammed with 50 beds.

New provincial program helps youth get leg up in job market

The provincial government has created a new fund to help match unemployed youth with employers looking for workers.
