Notice of Intention to Dispose of City Owned Lands

The Corporation of the City of Orillia (the "City") is proposing to dispose of certain lands more particularly described in Schedule "A" (the "Lands"), and as shown in the Key Map.
Any person wishing to comment on the proposed disposition is requested to submit comments in writing to the undersigned by 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at the Office of the Clerk, Orillia City Centre, 50 Andrew Street South, Suite 300, ORILLIA, Ontario, L3V 7T5.

One-hundred solar construction jobs spark additional training

Another local solar construction related training session will take place Nov. 28, 2013, following the success of two previous training events that led to more than 100 jobs. The training session is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Council Chamber at the Orillia City Centre.

The Canadian Sport Tourism Alliance (CSTA) in conjunction with the City of Orillia, the Orillia Sports Council, and the Ontario Trillium Foundation, is holding a one-day sport tourism workshop on Friday Nov. 15, 2013 at Rotary Place.

With snow and ice just around the corner, the City of Orillia is ready for Old Man Winter.
