Portion of Forest Avenue closed for sanitary sewer repair

For immediate release (December 18, 2014) – The City of Orillia has closed a portion of Forest Avenue between Crawford Street and Hilda Street in order to repair a sanitary sewer break.
The break was discovered yesterday afternoon. Crews immediately diverted flow upon discovery and implemented an action plan to contain and repair damage.
Sewer impacted soil will be removed and replaced with clean fill.

Centennial Drive now open

Centennial Drive in Orillia is now open to vehicle and pedestrian traffic. The road was closed earlier this morning in relation to a fire investigation.
