Burl's Creek Family Event Park has new owners.The longtime home of the Barrie Automotive Flea Market, a large campground facility and site of many concerts and major events over the years will be the site of the Boots and Hearts Music Festival in August 2015.Tickets go on sale at noon Friday.

Boots and Hearts is produced by Republic Live, a privately owned company. A majority shareholder of Republic Live, Stan Dunford, is the new owner of Burl's Creek.

Pay tickets with toys this November

For immediate release (November 4, 2014) – Turn your parking tickets into holiday cheer this November with the City of Orillia’s ninth annual Toys for Tickets campaign.

Overnight Parking Restrictions Start November 15

The City of Orillia reminds residents that parking is prohibited on any municipal street or parking lot between the hours of midnight and 7:00 a.m. from November 15, 2014 through April 15, 2015.

Illegally parked cars can delay or impair the City’s snow plowing or sanding operations. This prohibition is in effect whether it is snowing or not. All illegally parked vehicles will be ticketed and/or towed.

A Howling good time had at the Halloween Fun Run
