New entrepreneurs hailing from Orillia, Oro-Medonte, Severn and Ramara recently launched their businesses during an event at Orillia city hall.
The mini trade show highlighted start-ups supported by the Orillia Self-Employment Assistance Program, offered through the Business Enterprise Resource Network. Participants in the program are paid a weekly benefit for 42 weeks and receive expert support and mentoring to start and operate their business.

The City of Orillia is proposing to pass a by-law to stop up and close the unopened highway on certain lands in the City of Orillia, County of Simcoe, more particularly described in the Key Map below.
