For immediate release (May 16, 2022) – After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the City’s Treasure Hunt program returns beginning May 21, 2022.
The Treasure Hunt program will run on the third weekend of the month from May to October 2022 to encourage the reuse or recycling of large household items.
Residents are encouraged to leave unwanted, but still useful, household items at the curb after 5 p.m. on the Friday of the event weekend, but must remove all uncollected items...

For immediate release (May 12, 2022) - Due to an earlier evacuation of the Orillia City Centre at 50 Andrew St. S. as part of an Ontario Provincial Police investigation, City of Orillia offices will be closed for the remainder of the day on May 12, 2022.
