OSMH renovates for new cancer clinic

Renovations are underway on the second floor of Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital’s (OSMH) Harvie wing, the new home of the Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre satellite clinic.
“We looked around the organization to see what was available. It was one of the easier places … once we took a look at what we needed to function as a satellite,” Cheryl Harrison, vice-president of patient services and chief nursing executive with the hospital, said Friday.

Orillia’s cultural economy received an influx of more than $83,000 as result of new partnerships generated though the artsVestTM program.
