Orillia Hospital receives exemplary standing

ORILLIA - The lines of communication are open at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital (OSMH) and the real beneficiaries are the patients, say staff.
OSMH is in exemplary standing, the highest possible rating of Accreditation Canada, which uses a set of nearly 2,000 standards to evaluate all aspects of health-care delivery.

Georgian and Lakehead create diploma-degree option

Georgian College and Lakehead University are creating new ways for students to earn both a college diploma and a university degree in less time.
This latest development in the ongoing Lakehead and Georgian partnership comes as student groups call on postsecondary institutions across Ontario to improve the transferability of college and university credits.
Three newly signed articulation agreements will allow qualified Georgian graduates to gain advanced standing in selected programs at Lakehead.
