Staff from the Parks, Recreation and Culture Department are currently in the process of having the parkland located behind Tallwood Drive between Fittons Road East, and the Millennium Trail re-designed and developed with a playground structure.
The Recreation Advisory Committee would like to invite the public to consider and submit suggestions for the naming of this park, which is currently referred to as “Tallwood Park”. Deadline for submissions is Friday, May 17, 2013 at NOON.

Years of being a champion for those suffering from chronic kidney disease have earned provincial honours for Carolyn Bowman, manager of the Simcoe Muskoka Regional Kidney Care program, hosted by Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital (OSMH).
