Business 2 Innovations - Central Ontario

Local businesses are invited to hear first-hand how Georgian College and Lakehead University can assist in moving their enterprises forward during the Third Annual Business2 Innovation event being hosted at the main Lakehead University campus on Thursday, May 16. Presentations on research and innovation projects currently under way in the community will be delivered and information will also be provided to let business know where to turn for assistance.

In this year’s Progress 2013 publication, the Orillia Packet and Times highlights some of the progress being made on various fronts in and around Orillia.
The City has already had success with its moratorium on industrial development charges and this year will start marketing its fully-serviced employment lands in west Orillia.

Last week was a good one for business in Orillia. Two events in particular generated significant economic spinoff in the city.
