Orillia Hall of Fame induction ceremony takes place Oct. 30

For immediate release (Oct. 21, 2025) – Three nominees will be honoured with an induction into the Orillia Hall of Fame at a special presentation on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025.
After reviewing many worthy applications, the Commemorative Awards Selection Panel has chosen Harriett “Hattie” Todd, Stephen Graham, and Dr. Richard Johnston to be inducted into the Orillia Hall of Fame.

Please note that the road at 98 Nottawasaga Street between Albert Street North and Patrick Street will be closed on Thursday, October 23, 2025 to upgrade a water service.
- Detour is in place: Nottawasaga Street to Mary Street to William Street to Nottawasaga Street.
- Rain date: Friday, October 24, 2025.

Transit Detour & Modifications
7:30am Oct 22 to 3:00pm Oct 24, 2025
The Laclie route will not travel on Old Muskoka Rd and will be re-routed via Highland Avenue. Two temporary stops will be in place as per the map.
Please plan ahead and allow extra time, once the work is completed transit will resume normal operation.
