Subscribe to Orillia’s new and improved Weekly Bulletin

For immediate release (Sept. 12, 2019) – Stay up-to-date on the most important City of Orillia news and information by subscribing to the newly styled and digitized Weekly Bulletin launched today.

The City of Orillia Weekly Bulletin is now offered as an e-newsletter delivered directly to your email. Simply visit and sign-up for the Weekly Bulletin e-newsletter today. The Weekly Bulletin is still available every Thursday in the Orillia Today newspaper and on the City’s website at

“Making sure Orillia residents are well informed and engaged about matters impacting their daily lives is very important to Council,” said Mayor Steve Clarke. “The Weekly Bulletin is a regular touchpoint with local citizens that is now more inviting and easily accessible to all. I’d encourage you all to subscribe to the weekly e-newsletter today to stay up-to-date on your City.”

The 2018 communications and engagement survey identified the Weekly Bulletin as the third most popular means of receiving City of Orillia information (behind the City of Orillia website and Facebook page). An emailed newsletter received the highest level of interest in ways to receive City of Orillia information.  

The Weekly Bulletin includes news, upcoming meetings, job opportunities, events, construction notices, statutory notices, project updates and much more.
