Notice of Complete Application Re: Official Plan Amendment for 1382 Wilson Point Road

TAKE NOTICE that the City of Orillia deemed the following application to amend the Official Plan of the City of Orillia “Complete” application under Subsection 22 of the Planning Act on the 3rd day of November, 2020:

Subject Property: 1382 Wilson Point Road

The subject property is designated “Living Area – Stable Neighbourhood” in the City’s Official Plan and are currently zoned “Rural (Holding Nineteen)” (RU(H19)) under the City’s Zoning By-law 2014-44, as amended.

The purpose and effect of the Proposed Official Plan Amendment is to permit the development of the property at 1382 Wilson Point Road on private services.

A lot with 143m of Lot Frontage on Wilson Point Road and Lot Area of 0.88 hectares was created by Provisional Consent in March of 2019 conditional upon the application successfully being approved for an Official Plan Amendment which would allow the development of the lot to occur on private services. The lot is intended to be developed for a Single Detached Dwelling and accessory garage. It would be serviced by an individual private well and an individual private sewage disposal system.
