Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) Grant Program - Annual Statistics
The Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services established the Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) grant program and provides funds to the City of Orillia Police Services Board to offset staff costs for implementing R.I.D.E. programs of sobriety checks in Orillia.
On an annual basis (every March), the City of Orillia Police Services Board submits reports to the Ministry which provide an accounting, in detail, of all expenses for which the R.I.D.E. funds were used. In addition, the Board tracks and records key statistical information relating to the R.I.D.E. program.
The Annual Statistics for the R.I.D.E. Grant Program are available electronically.
