Mandate
The City of Orillia Police Services Board is mandated by the Police Services Act.
Purpose
The Police Services Board is responsible for ensuring that the level of policing in the City of Orillia continues to adequately and efficiently meet the requirements of its citizens and the guidelines under the Police Services Act.
Committee Members
The Police Services Board consists of five members: one citizen appointed by Council, two citizens appointed by the Province and two members of Council (including the Mayor or his designate).
Regular Meeting Date
The Police Services Board meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 9:00 a.m. at the Orillia City Centre.
