Mandate
The Downtown Orillia Management Board is mandated by the Municipal Act and is governed by Chapter 100 of the City of Orillia Municipal Code.
Committee Members
The Downtown Orillia Management Board consists of nine members: eight members elected from the Business Improvement Area (BIA) and one City Councillor. The Board is appointed by City Council and serves for the four-year term of the Council.
Purpose
The purpose of the Downtown Orillia Management Board is to oversee the marketing, beautification, maintenance, and development of Downtown Orillia as a heritage shopping attraction and as the primary regional centre for business in Orillia and area.
Regular Meeting Date
The Board meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 5:30 PM
