The Business Development, Culture and Tourism Department includes the Business Development, Corporate Communications, Culture and Tourism Divisions.
Business Development
The Business Development Division is focused on the economic health and vitality of the City of Orillia. The Business Development Division facilitates business attraction, expansion and retention, and beyond, including implementation and management of the Downtown Tomorrow CIP Grant Program, marketing and promotion of investment opportunities, Smart City projects and initiatives, regional collaboration with like-minded partners, government and organizations, and representing the City of Orillia on various business and community boards and committees.

Culture
Culture staff are responsible for playing a leadership role in cultural planning and development for the City of Orillia. They work to support and strengthen the sector through municipal policies, programs and plans. They manage and operate City-owned cultural facilities, including the Orillia Opera House and the Leacock Museum National Historic Site; support communication, cooperation and coordination amongst cultural groups and organizations; provide staff resources to the Municipal Heritage Committee and Art in Public Places Committee, and represent the City of Orillia on various community boards and committees.

Orillia Farmers' Market
The Orillia Farmers' Market is located at the Orillia Public Library and is open year round! Join us every Saturday from 8am - 12:30pm.
