The Business Development, Modernization and Tourism Division includes Business Development, Modernization and Information Technology, and Tourism services.
Business Development
Business Development is focused on the economic health and vitality of the City of Orillia. The Business Development services facilitates business attraction, expansion and retention, and beyond, including implementation and management of the Downtown Tomorrow CIP Grant Program, marketing and promotion of investment opportunities, Smart City projects and initiatives, regional collaboration with like-minded partners, government and organizations, and representing the City of Orillia on various business and community boards and committees.

Modernization
The Modernization Division manages the technology infrastructure and information systems provided to Council and City employees at all City locations. In addition, the Division supports the information systems and networks provided by the City of Orillia to the Public including our web site “Orillia.ca”.

Orillia Farmers' Market
The Orillia Farmers' Market is located at the Orillia Public Library and is open year round! Join us every Saturday from 8am - 12:30pm. The Farmers' Market proudly offers a range of locally produced foods, tasty treats and handmade crafts.
