Timeline: The Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA) is complete and design is nearing completion. Subject to budget approval, it is anticipated that construction on the first phase from Laclie Street to Bay Street will occur in 2025 and construction on the second phase from West Street North to Laclie Street will occur in 2026. |

| Project Description |
| The project is reconstructing Jarvis Street from West Street North to Bay Street to a two lane standard with additional parking layby areas between Canice Street and Bay Street. This includes the replacement of City owned underground infrastructure such as water mains, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, as well as reconstructing the at grade infrastructure such as the road surface and sidewalks. Additionally, the project includes the replacement of the existing watermain that runs through Couchiching Beach Park to a new alignment. |
