Orillia Community Development Corporation is a not-for-profit organization providing essential information and services to get your business going and growing, since 1984.   The CDC's business development services include:

  • Business guidance to help you succeed
  • Connections to local market information and resources you need to grow
  • Business registration
  • Ongoing assistance and monitoring as needed

Their website is a great resource for both new and existing business owners, providing information on Ontario's economy, economic development opportunities, research funding, tax credits and the provincial budget.

Biz Pal Logo

BizPal is an online resource that lists all of the municipal, provincial, and federal permits and licensing requirements you need to both start and operate your business. The business information you provide is anonymous and once the list is generated it can be printed for future reference.

Downtown Orillia Business Package:

The City of Orillia and the Downtown Orillia Management Board (DMB) created a Business Information Package to provide Orillia Business and Property Owner's a more comprehensive guideline of policies, procedures and important information within the City of Orillia's Historic Downtown Core. With information on parking, garbage collection, signage, upcoming events, grant programs, networking opportunities and contact information, the Downtown Business Package has all the answers you are looking for!

Georgian College Centre for Career and Employment Services offers a variety of services to employers to help you grow your labour force, including access to vital information related to employment and labour standards. There is no cost for employers to use these services, however employers must meet eligibility criteria to access each individual program.
