CMHC is Canada's national housing agency. CMHC works with individuals, community organizations, the private sector and non-profit agencies and all levels of government to help improve the quality of life for all Canadians.
CMHC provides resources and financial tools and support for all housing stakeholders as well as low income households at all stages of the housing cycle whether it is financing, design, construction, operations and maintenance.
Tools, such as financial support, viability and mortgage calculators, guide books and research material with respect to flex housing, equilibrium housing, sustainable communities and fact sheets for accessibility by design and secondary suites are just a few examples of what CMHC has to offer to assist developers of affordable housing.

Ontario Trillium Foundation Funding
The Ontario Trillium Foundation is a provincial government agency that supports charities and non-profit groups through two granting programs (either community or province-Wide) that allocate funding support for the following sectors: arts and culture, environment, sports and recreation, and human and social services. Community and Province-Wide program grants can cover operating or project expenses, as well as capital expenses such as building renovations and equipment purchases.
