Contact(s)
The Orillia Fire Department Communications Division has four full-time Communicators and three part-time Communicators answering 9-1-1 calls and administration calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The Orillia Fire Department is the 9-1-1 Central Emergency Reporting Bureau for Orillia, Chippewas of Rama First Nation, Ramara, Severn and Oro-Medonte Townships. When you call 9-1-1 from anywhere in these areas, you will speak with one of our Communicators, and they will connect you with Police, Fire or Ambulance.
This division also dispatches fire service for Orillia and those communities as well as the Town of Gravenhurst. We are also the after-hours call answering centre for Orillia Public Works and the Orillia Power Corporation. When you call for service, our Communicators send out the emergency crews who can help.
