Orillia Fire Department Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Orillia Fire Department to preserve life and property, and to promote public safety. The Department strives in it's efforts to respond rapidly to all emergencies, to provide appropriate intervention and to provide continuing community fire safety education. The Department continually challenges itself to improve on the already high quality of services it provides to the residents and visitors of our beautiful "Sunshine City."
Orillia Fire Department
The Orillia Fire Department has two fire stations and provides coverage for 33,411 people over a 26.5 square kilometre area. Orillia Fire has a Fire Chief, Deputy Chief, Executive Assistant, part-time Administrative Assistant, Chief Fire Prevention Officer, two Fire Prevention Officers, eight Captains and thirty-two Fire Fighters on four crews, supported by thirty Volunteer Fire Fighters, and four full-time and five part-time Communicators.
