The Orillia Fire Department Fire Suppression division includes 40 full-time fire fighters assisted by 20 volunteer fire fighters, who respond to fires, medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents, and rescue calls. The Department uses three triple combination pumpers, an aerial platform truck, a rescue truck, a water/ice rescue unit, and a specially outfitted boat to respond to emergencies.
