The City of Orillia has engaged in almost five years of community consultation and research to develop a plan to create a Heritage Conservation District in our historic downtown. In 2008 Bray Heritage was retained to prepare a study for the plan. As required in the Ontario Heritage Act, the Final Plan is the second part of a planning process, the first part of which was the Heritage Conservation District Study, adopted by Council in September, 2010.
