City staff and community partners are actively involved in training to better their understanding of the City's guidelines and their responsibilities during a pandemic - an epidemic of infectious disease that spreads across a large region. Through this training, we are able to enhance the co-ordinated effort needed to effectively respond to an emergency.
The Simcoe Muskoka Health Unit has developed a Pandemic Influenza Plan to be used during any human health emergencies within the County of Simcoe.
