Safety Procedures |
- Access to registered and drop-in recreation programs will be limited to those whose primary residence is classified under the same Provincial Framework colour as the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU).
- Everyone entering the facility will be subject to contact tracing and COVID-19 screening and be required to sign a COVID-19 waiver. You will be permitted to show up 15 minutes prior to your reserved time slot.
- Patrons are being advised to limit their participation in recreation programs to 90 minutes per day to limit frequent, prolonged exposure. This excludes organized sports.
- Spectators will not be permitted with the exception to allow one parent or guardian for child supervision.
- Enhanced cleaning and disinfecting measures have been established in accordance with the Provincial guidelines, in conjunction with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit.
- Room occupancy limits have been developed to ensure physical distancing can be maintained between participants and instructors. Where possible, staggered start times for programs, gymnasium rentals, fitness centre bookings and swimming lessons have been established to reduce wait times at screening stations and reduce traffic throughout the recreation centre.
- All participants must wear a mask in common areas. Once you are engaged in the activity you are enrolled in you may remove your mask (exceptions may apply dependent on activity).
- Please follow all floor markings when entering and exiting the building.
- Those wanting to attend the fitness centre and/or drop-in programs will need to pre-register for their time slots.
- Dry changerooms (fitness) will be unavailable at this time.
