Up-to-Date Status

 

Splash pads are open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily during the summer months.  Please note the status of the splash pads is kept up-to-date during regular business hours only.  J.B. Tudhope splashpad is open from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily. 

The opening of all splash pads is expected to occur by mid June each year.

Reporting an Issue

If you experience issues with a splash pad during regular business hours (Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.), please call 705-326-4585 to receive assistance. If you experience issues over the weekend, please contact 705-323-3963. Thank you for your cooperation.

Emergencies

The Emergency Phone and First Aid Kit are located at Barnfield Point Recreation Centre. While Lifeguards are on duty, please visit the Lifeguard Station located at the Public Washroom Building.

Splash Pad Rules

Each splash pad is started with a push activation button. While fun is the goal, there are some simple rules that must be followed:

• No bicycles, roller blades or pets near water play area.
• Parents/guardians are to supervise children at all times.
• No glass containers, food or beverage allowed on the splash pad or in the immediate area.
• Children should be appropriately attired for their age and toileting ability (e.g. swim diapers).
• Do not use the splash pad if you have opens sores, a rash, or are experiencing nausea, vomiting or diarrhea.
• Recreational water is not intended for drinking. 
• No person shall pollute the water, surface or immediate area surrounding the splash pad in any manner.
• No boisterous play in or around the splash pad.
• Sand and/or dirt is not permitted to be brought onto the splash pad.
• Climbing on splash pad features is strictly prohibited.
• Splash pad should be vacated at first sound of thunder. Remember, “Lightning Kills!”
