Sports Fields
The City maintains and books sports fields in three locations. Various sized fields are available that are both lit and unlit. Sports fields are available for soccer, rugby, football, field lacrosse and any other field sports.
Kitchener Park
- 2 full-size lit natural turf fields
- 1 three-quarter sized unlit natural turf field
- Multiple smaller sized unlit natural turf fields
West Orillia Sports Complex
- 1 full size lit artificial turf field
- 1 full size lit natural turf field
- 2 three-quarter sized unlit natural turf fields

Pickleball Courts
The City of Orillia offers a selection of outdoor pickleball courts available for both community use and organized play.
The courts are available free to the public outside of the times that non-profit user groups have them booked through a permitting process similar to the City's tennis court bookings. To support recreational access for all, the majority of court time remains available for first-come, first-served play.
Dedicated Court Times (May 19 – October 12, 2025)
The following times at Homewood Park (2 courts) and J.B. Tudhope Memorial Park (3 courts) are reserved for an established non-profit user group:

Outside of the hours listed above, these courts are open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tennis Courts

Tennis anyone? The City operates tennis courts at three separate locations. Tennis courts are located at Kitchener Park, Morningstar Park, and West Orillia Sports Complex and remain open until end of October (weather dependant).The courts are available free to the public all day outside of the times that the Orillia Tennis Club and Community Services Department have them booked for league play and registered programs. Monday and Wednesday 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Orillia has some of the finest baseball diamonds in the region. Diamonds can be found at the following parks:

- 1 small unlit diamond

- The Cliff Yeo Diamond is a large, unlit diamond
McKinnell Square Park
- Gander Ross Diamond is a lit diamond
- Dean Heliotis Diamond is an unlit diamond
J.B. Tudhope Memorial Park

- Tudhope Diamond is a medium sized lit diamond
