$2.00 cash fare (valid for one-way and transfer at terminal).

Family Ride Program:

Up to two elementary school-aged children and/or preschoolers may ride free when accompanied by a paying guardian.

Canadian National Institute for Blind (CNIB):

Card holders may ride Orillia Transit for free with proof of CNIB card

7-Day Pass - $10.00

30-Day Pass - $30.00

7-Day pass is valid from the day it is activated, and seven days thereafter. Monthly Passes provide unlimited rides for the month. Since months vary in length, the Monthly Pass will correspond with the number of days in the month based on when the cOnnect Pass transit card is first used. 

Group Passes 2026 Prices:

• Groups of up to 30 children, plus 5 adults - $10.00

These passes are good for one-way travel on the date specified. Children must be 12 years of age or younger.

Teen Pass

Let Orillia Transit help get your teen around town!

Need a ride to the Orillia Recreation Centre, home from after school sports, or to the movies? No problem!

Orillia teens aged 13 to 19 have access to the Orillia Transit system at no cost using the cOnnect pass reloadable transit card.

• Youth age 13-19 can visit Orillia City Hall (50 Andrew St S), or the Orillia Public Library (36 Mississaga St W) to obtain a teen pass
• Teen passes will be loaded onto existing cOnnect pass cards (if applicable)
• A valid ID with a birthdate listed will be required
  • A manual expiry date of the day before the cardholders 20th birthday will be inputted on the card
• All cOnnect pass cards must be registered online at orillia.usetransit.com

• A cOnnect pass card will be required in order to board Orillia Transit at not cost. If a teen boards an Orillia Transit bus without a valid teen pass, they will be required to pay the full $2.00 fare
• Although this pass allows teens free access to Orillia Transit, a $5.00 replacement fee will be charged for any lost or stolen teen passes

Seniors Discount Rates

$2.00 fare for seniors 65+ using a seniors cOnnect pass card.

• The seniors cOnnect pass card can be ordered online at "Use Transit", in person at the Orillia City Hall located at 50 Andrew St. S., or the Orillia Public Library located at 36 Mississaga St. W.

Receiving your cOnnect Pass Transit Card

A cOnnect Pass transit card can be requested online at "Use Transit"

• If you have not already created an account, choose the "Sign Up" option from the main page. You will be required to enter your first and last name, email and phone number.
• Once an account has been created, click the plus sign (+) to continue with your purchase.

Register your cOnnect Pass Transit Card

Protect your cOnnect Pass balance by registering your cOnnect Pass transit card online. If your card is lost or stolen and not registered on "Use Transit" it cannot be replaced and your balance will not be transferred to your new card. 

To register your cOnnect Pass transit card, please visit "Use Transit". You will click the plus sign (+) and choose the "Link an Existing Smart Card" option. You will need your cOnnect pass transit card number, as well as the validation code (4-digit number on the back of the card).

Reloading a cOnnect Pass Transit Card

To reload the cOnnect Pass transit card online, visit "Use Transit", sign into your account and click the plus sign (+). The first time you load the card, you will require a credit card, the cOnnect Pass transit card number, along with the activation code (4-digit number on the back of the card). 

Replacing your cOnnect Pass Transit Card

Orillia Transit is not responsible for any lost or stolen cOnnect Pass transit cards. The cOnnect Pass transit card is considered final sale, and should be treated like cash. Without having the cOnnect Pass transit card registered, a replacement cOnnect Pass transit card with your balance cannot be issued, and a new cOnnect Pass transit card must be purchased. A fee of $5 will be charged for each replacement cOnnect Pass transit card issued.

Registered cOnnect Pass transit cards can be replaced by requesting one online at "Use Transit" and under the Transit Accounts tab, click "Report Card Lost or Stolen". In-person replacement cards are completed by visiting:

FAQ's

How will I know when my cOnnect Pass transit card is low or expiring?

• When you register your cOnnect Pass transit card, you can manage your balance online or you can require a printout of your remaining balance directly from the bus driver.

Can my cOnnect Pass transit card automatically be topped up?

• Authorize your cOnnect Pass account to automatically top up your account using your credit card when it goes below a minimum balance of choice at "Use Transit" and under the Transit Accounts tab, click "Auto Reload". By choosing the autoload option, you can set your minimum balance and how much to increase so when your account goes below the minimum, funds will be automatically added and charged to your credit card.

Can I receive a refund for unused fares if I no longer require my cOnnect Pass transit card?

• The cOnnect Pass transit card is considered final sale, and should be treated like cash.
• Refunds will not be issued for unused fares.

What if I forget my password?

• You can reset your password on your transit account by going to "Use Transit". You will be required to have your email address that you registered the card with.

Who do I contact if I require further assistance?

• You can visit Orillia City Hall, Orillia Public Library or call the Transit Division at 705-325-3975.

Orillia Transit passengers can transfer routes at any point where two routes connect. Passengers must request a transfer when boarding the bus if a transfer is required along the route. For transit riders using the cOnnect Pass transit card, passengers must tap the cOnnect Pass transit card on the card reader machine located at the transit vehicle door, and the transfer request will directly take place on the cOnnect Pass transit card. For transit riders who would like to pay by cash, a transfer ticket will be provided.

An Orillia transfer is valid for 45 minutes from the time of issue and is valid as part of one continuous trip from origin to destination. Transfers are non-transferable and have no cash value
