Seniors Discount Rates |
*No changes to the process to obtain and use a seniors cOnnect pass transit card* $2.00 fare for seniors 65+ using a seniors cOnnect pass card. Transit riders choosing to use a cash fare, will be subject to the full $3.00 fare per ride.

Register your cOnnect Pass Transit Card |
Protect your cOnnect Pass balance by registering your cOnnect Pass transit card online. If your card is lost or stolen and not registered on "Use Transit" it cannot be replaced and your balance will not be transferred to your new card. To register your cOnnect Pass transit card, please visit "Use Transit". You will click the plus sign (+) and choose the "Link an Existing Smart Card" option. You will need your cOnnect pass transit card number, as well as the validation code (4-digit number on the back of the card). |
Reloading a cOnnect Pass Transit Card |
To reload the cOnnect Pass transit card online, visit "Use Transit", sign into your account and click the plus sign (+). The first time you load the card, you will require a credit card, the cOnnect Pass transit card number, along with the activation code (4-digit number on the back of the card). |
Replacing your cOnnect Pass Transit Card |
Orillia Transit is not responsible for any lost or stolen cOnnect Pass transit cards. The cOnnect Pass transit card is considered final sale, and should be treated like cash. Without having the cOnnect Pass transit card registered, a replacement cOnnect Pass transit card with your balance cannot be issued, and a new cOnnect Pass transit card must be purchased. A fee of $5 will be charged for each replacement cOnnect Pass transit card issued. Registered cOnnect Pass transit cards can be replaced by requesting one online at "Use Transit" and under the Transit Accounts tab, click "Report Card Lost or Stolen". Orillia Transit Transfers |
Orillia Transit passengers can transfer routes at any point where two routes connect. Passengers must request a transfer when boarding the bus if a transfer is required along the route. For transit riders using the cOnnect Pass transit card, passengers must tap the cOnnect Pass transit card on the card reader machine located at the transit vehicle door, and the transfer request will directly take place on the cOnnect Pass transit card. For transit riders who would like to pay by cash, a transfer ticket will be provided. An Orillia transfer is valid for 45 minutes from the time of issue and is valid as part of one continuous trip from origin to destination. Transfers are non-transferable and have no cash value |
