Residents of the Townships of Severn, Oro-Medonte and Ramara may drop off the following types of waste at Orillia's Waste Diversion Site:
| Household hazardous waste (i.e. paint, batteries, oil, fluorescent tubes, solvents, pesticides, disinfectants, propane tanks, etc.) - Free |
| Electronics (i.e. televisions, computers, etc.) - Free |
| Readily compostable material (i.e. kitchen organics, leaves, grass, woodchips etc.) - $20/tonne ($20 minimum) |
Township residents may not take regular garbage to the Waste Diversion Site. To find the nearest landfill or for more information on Township waste collection services, please call the County of Simcoe's Environmental Services at 705-735-6901 or at 1-800-263-3199.
